Step by Step Instructions to create your own blog . . .


Creating your blog page
  1.  Create a separate gmail id (can use your existing gmail id. But i strongly suggest a separate id).
  2. Go to “blogger.com”
  3. Click “create a blog”
  4. Log in using your new id.
  5. Open the blogger.com – opens to profile page.
  6. Create your profile name. This name will appear in all your posts as the author name
  7. Save – Opens the blogger.com page – click “New blog” – select “create a new blog”
a.    Enter Name / Title of blog.
                                         i.    Example – “Programming”
b.    Address to access your blog.
                                         i.    Example “drranurekha.blogspot.in”

Steps 1 to 7 are one time process

You have created your blog page, named it and provided the user with the access address

Creating posts
  1.  Click “Create new posts”
  2.  Opens a new page.
  3.  Enter title.
    1.     Example – “How to create your blog - step by step instruction”
  4.  Add the information (text / images) in the text box. Use the formatting tools.
  5.  Click labels (right side) – add the key words that can be used to search the blog for this content.
  6.  Click publish.

Open a new tab in your browser. 
Type your address and view your posts

    I have the following doubts kindly include in your blog too

    1. can we add a pdf / word / excel file in the blog. if it is how?

    2. when I try to create a post in a particular label, the post is seen from home page itself. it is also available in the label. how to make the post visible only when the label is clicked.

      2. By default every post will be added to Home tab in the order they were posted, most recent first. Labels help to organize your pages and make them easier to find.
